The city will send you a letter notifying you that your backflow device is due for testing. Once you receive this notice, give ASAP Backflow Service a call or text, and we’ll schedule your test. We are registered testers with the City of Lubbock, and we’ll handle the rest for you.

The frequency of backflow testing can vary. While some devices need to be tested annually, the majority of backflow valves we test are on a three-year cycle. The City will let you know when yours is due, and we’ll take care of the rest- the alert you next time it’s coming up!

For both residential and commercial backflow tests, the fee is $89, which includes the city filing fee. Should any repairs be necessary, we’ll notify you of any additional costs before proceeding.
